The LCD Soundsystem show in Toronto was fantastic. While LCD's sound has been categorized as electro dance meets punk - the band really rocks live.  The instrumentation James Murphy collected to perform his music is the perfect mix of electro sound and real live rock.  He performed several tracks off his new (and rumored last) album, This is Happening, as well as some of his older songs. Favorite song: All My Friends..... which was dedicated to Murphy's friend who recently passed away.  James Murphy has always seemed like that laid back cool neighbor you have funny conversations with on the street that is secretly making awesome dance music in his basement.... this persona translated on stage.  Especially when he told all the people recording video on their phones that the show is much more enjoyable when you're not holding the camera up all the time..... with that said, I took some photos..... but I made sure to still enjoy the show.
