Sleepy Sun or Son of the Sun? that is the big question for tonight.

San Francisco's Sleepy Sun return to Buffalo tonight at Mohawk for a rip roaring, or rather, riff roaring good time.  Pitchfork loved sleepy sun's last album Embrace describing it as "earth-quaking riffage in such carefully measured, perfectly spaced-out rations".  This time around the band is touring in support of the new album Fever. Take a quick listen to song Open Eyes on their myspace page. 

Across town at Nietszches', Buffalo's favorite melodic reverb rockers Son the Sun have their long awaited album release party for The Happy Loss.  Bring a can of food to donate to the WNY food bank and you'll get a raffle ticket to win free merch.
