Three great music events are going on tonight! Which one are you going to?



First: Les Claypool is at Artpark with the Avett Brothers. All event info is at the Town Ballroom Website.
Les Claypool is crazy good - his creative style of playing bass is unlike anything you've seen before. The Avett Brothers... are brothers. They play banjo and guitar - sometimes theres a cello and make really great music... as can be heard below:

Second: Dave Matthews Band is at Darien Lake today! I don't think anyone really needs any info on what this involves today.  Tailgating, lots of beer, kan jam, dancing, and as a long time dave fan...... I gotta say some damn good music.  I have a few pieces of advice: stay hydrated (with water), wear sunscreen, avoid sitting on the lawn if you actually want to hear the music, and stay away from anyone wearing abercrombie & fitch.


Third: Our friends at mnm presents presents Pretty Lights! Derek Vincent Smith, accompanied by drummer, Cory Eberhard take on the electronic music world with producing some amazing beats mixed with some real live actual good music. The end product that results from the combination of these two is unbelievable.  The live performance also includes some beyond pretty lights behind them on stage. Its a show not to be missed (even though I am for one of the above). Unfortunately, this show is in our neighbor Rochester.... but worth the drive!
