Local boys, Arctic Death, have their self titled EP release party tonight. The band has released the EP for free on their website and its definitely worth a download. We've been raving about these guys all week so its you know its going to be a great show. Also on the bill is Real People, Electric Crowd Control, and buffaBLOG fav Catamaran. Show starts at 6 pm and cover is 10 bucks.

If you didn't get enough riff roaring guitar solos at last nights Fang Island show, the epic, southern gospel, Kentucky rock n' roll group, My Morning Jacket will be playing at CMAC. It's an hour and 45 min drive east & 40 bucks for a ticket, but well worth the trip if your up for it. Especially if they play some new stuff from their forthcoming album, which sounds really promising. The New Pornographers open up.
