Appearing tonight at the Town Ballroom will be Cali dub-rock band the Dirty Heads. The Dirty Heads are a new conglomeration of O.C. kids trying to be the next Sublime. They have been touring with their current incantation for about 8 years, the So-Cal 5 piece offers listeners the same derivative easy going post-ska as bands like Slighty Stoopid or Pepper, but without the soul and far poppier. Just to cement their biggest place amongst the list of heirs to Sublime's throne, they recruited Bradley Nowell “replacement”, Rome Ramirez, to guest on one of their latest singles. Accompanying them will be Danish based American pop band New Politics. Both bands have appeal to teens and pre-teens, so expect a young crowd for this one. Tickets are $18 at the door, and though doors are at 7 p.m., don’t expect a line for wristbands.
