"The Newspaper Album" hits doorsteps.

A few months ago Radiohead gave us the eight track King of Limbs album, and though the tracks were spectacular, it left both listeners with an immense yearning for more. Enter "The Newspaper Album". When the album was first released, fans that bought it online were given the option to buy what the band called "The Newspaper Album", which was said to have images and newsprint along with two LP’s. This past week, people that ordered online, began to receive their copies of "The Newspaper Album".

On March 28th, in promotion of the album, Radiohead released a one-time release newspaper called The Universal Sigh; distributed all over the world the small piece of newsprint featured art, poetry and short stories from artist Stanley Donwood (pen name for artist and Radiohead collaborator Dan Rickwood). "The Newspaper Album" contains another newspaper, as well something like 600+ pieces of artwork to accompany the clear LP’s, and a neat earth friendly plastic container for it all.

Additionally, in support of "The Newspaper Album", Radiohead will be performing on the BBC show From The Basement, a program they have appeared on before, to perform the album in its entirety. It will air on July 1st in the UK, no word yet as to when it will infiltrate BBC America.
