Any time I get my hands on a new release by one of my favorite artists/bands, I always find myself going back to their catalog as well to revisit what got me into the band in the first place. We have been listening to the Fleet Foxes' new album for over a month now ever since the band began streaming it on the web, and although the band does not have a deep catalog, with only one full length and an EP to their name prior to their Album of the Week selected Helplessness Blues, but they have already managed to have established signature sound. "Mykonos" from their Sun Giant EP features everything I like about a Fleet Foxes songs: building autumnal melodies and multi layered harmonies. Somehow I came across a Dub remix of the track and I was a bit skeptical of it, to say the least. Somehow, though, it works. Never thought a Fleet Foxes song would be appropriate for the Chip Strip.
