Like most of the music on her excellent 2011 album Wounded Rhymes, Lykke Li's music videos are innovative, strange and somewhat dark in nature. The three previous music videos (Get Some, I Follow Rivers & I know Places) were either shot in black and white or were noticeably lacking in color. These stark and vacant landscapes helped contribute to the empty feeling the songs attempt to convey. Li's newest music video for the song 'Sadness is a Blessing' adds slightly more color but is just as beautifully dark. The video begins with Li having dinner in some fancy restaurant with the somewhat famous actor, Stellan Skarsgård. The video ends with Li dancing uncontrollably, almost as if possessed by demons. eerie.
