Tonight Buffalo Place's Thursday at the Square series hosts funk icons Morris Day and the Time. Some of you may remember Morris Day as the "bad guy" in Prince's "Purple Rain", others of you might remember them blazing a great rendition of "Jungle Love" at the end of "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", but the Minneapolis based funk ensemble will definitely turn out Lafayette Square tonight. This is sure to be one of the more family friendly Square shows this year, so bring them kiddies! Opening up will be a few local bands, Autopunch and Missing Star, that should mix the sounds of the evening up. As always, this show is free, and start about 5pm in Lafayette Square.
