You've probably seen this word "Jazzbollah" on posters and haven't been exactly clear what it means... well at least thats how I felt until I realized its an amazing super group of local Buffalo musicians. Jazzbollah vs Jazzbollah is where a mixture of local Buffalo musicians plays one set, followed by another interesting mixture of musicians and then a super jam of all musicians at the end of the night. Its been going on successfully for several years now. Tonight's first Jazzbollah band features members of Early Attic, Peanut Brittle Satellite and Ould Pound. Following them will be members of Anal Pudding and Shapes of States. The music starts at Nietzsche's at 10 pm and from the looks of the facebook event page there is no cover (but don't quote me on that!).
