As an added bonus to the start of "Shakespeare in the Park", the Olmsted Parks' Conservancy have announced their "Summer Breeze at the Lake"', a free concert series that precedes "Shakespeare in the Park". The series runs every Thursday for the next nine weeks, and features some fine local music, including bands the Albrights and Andrew J. Premier's Country Punk Explosion. The first installment of this series is tonight, and features Irish-folk trio Soulis. The band brings a contemporary feel to traditional Irish folk, and can blast out some amazing vocal harmonies. The show kicks off around 5 PM on the Shakespeare Hill, and is free for the public. There will food and drinks for sale, but this should still be a family friendly affair.
