This is a dream scenario for me, and it should be for you, too. Two of my (and hopefully your) favorite rappers have teamed up for an album, calling themselves DOOMSTARKS - a combination of DOOM (formerly MF DOOM and also known as Viktor Vaughn, Metal Fingers, King Geedorah, and a bunch of other names) and the Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah (also known as Tony Starks and a bunch of other names). Seriously, think about that for a second: these are two of the most legendary rhymesmiths of all time. If you don't believe me, turn off your Lil Wayne Pandora station and listen to them.
To hold us over until the album comes out, the dynamic duo has released a single called "Victory Laps," along with a remix version produced by DOOM-affiliated beatsmith Madlib. Both are now available on iTunes, but you can listen to the original version here (via Nah Right) and the remixed version below.
This is hip hop at its finest - no hook, just tag-team style verses from two rhyming legends.
