Preview: George Clinton & the Parliament Funkadelic

Alright... so this is kinda bad of me to admit.... but I totally forgot Thursday at the Square or should I say Central Wharf was still going on. Maybe its because it isn't actually in Lafayette Square anymore or that theres just been so much other great free music in addition to Buffalo Place's line up this year - regardless George Clinton is in town tonight. The funkiest, strangest and most entertaining act The Square has ever had is back. George Clinton started his music career back in Junior High School where he formed a doo-wop group called The Parliaments and from there history was made. There are now 21 members of the Parliament Funkadelic... most if not all will be on stage with George Clinton tonight gettin funky. If you haven't made it to a Square yet then this is the one to go to. There ain't no party like p-funk party. Eric Crittendon is putting on a P-Funk After Show at DBGB's featuring Kim Manning from the Parliament Funkadelic starting at 9 pm.  If you can, get there early because that place will fill up fast!
