Six years ago post-hardcore visionaries, Hot Snakes, called it quits. The band, known for their frenetic live shows and chaotic garage-punk riffs, were moving on to bigger and better things. Twas' a sad day for showgoers and fans the world 'round. Well, it's 2011 and fans rejoice! Hot Snakes is reuniting for one show (and possibly several more) as part of England's ATP's (All Tomorrow's Parties) Nightmare Before Christmas Fest on December 9th. The rumors were confirmed on ATP's website a few days ago stating that the band would be playing the first night of the fest. Rumors have been circulating that a possible east coast or maybe European tour will follow, only at this time, they are just that: rumors. For those that remember the band, it's probably their live shows that stick out most in your head. Leaving the venue, you were most likely thinking "what just happened???". They were that good.
