Singer/songwriter and pop hook maestro Tristen Gaspadarek will be showcasing her talents tonight at Babeville's Ninth Ward with her appropriately named band, Tristen. It's been a great year for the 28 year old songster. So far she's released her debut album Charlatans at the Garden Gate, rocked Bonnaroo, and made splashes on paste maganize and NPR's All Things Considered. Like a beautiful mix of Harry Nilsson & Loretta Lynn, Tristen have a sound that incorporates traditional Americana influences with melodic singer-songwriter mentalities. Opening tonight will be buffaBLOG favs Early Attic & Sara Elizabeth. Tickets are 10 bucks and doors open at 7pm.
