Artist Spotlight: Liam Finn

For offspring of famous musicians, it’s almost impossible to escape their parent’s legacy and create your own identity. It’s few and far between that the son/daughter of an established rock star has their own successful music career (see: Kelly Osborne). Meet New Zealand’s Liam Finn, the son of Crowded House frontman, Neil Finn and rising Kiwi rocker, touring with the likes of Wilco, the Black Keys, and Eddie Vedder. With plans to tour extensively Australia, the U.S. and Canada this fall in support of his recently released full Fomo, Liam Finn is a name you will be reading about. Finn is equal parts quirky as solemn. He would best be described as Elliott Smith with a funny accent meets Badly Drawn Voice. Check out the gem“Don’t Even Know Your Name.”
