The Drum Machine Report

Infringe Buffalo, night is careless and pavement is a stage. Only day breaks up the celebration of underground music, theatre, and art. No doubt everyone has already been enjoying the festivities; however, if you have not been around the blocks, you will have ample opportunity this coming weekend. Localism movements and the Arts community are the new pillars of Buffalo, and Infringement brings them together in a crusty but lovable way.

Coming off the whirlwind trip to the Block Party in NYC I somehow managed to get some new music for sharing. The first of which is a compilation EP by Munchi Verano Del Moombahton. It’s a good mix of hard Moombahton including a remix by La Muerta of De Shurman’s Nu Ga Je Danse, which he fittingly describes as Gabbahton an abrasive blend of Gabber style rave leads over Moombahton beats. Also coming down the wire, a new remix from Dillon Francis of Calvin Harris’ Feel So Close; downright epic arena-style. Amazingly, Francis cannot be doused of hot flames at present. Zed’s Dead even dropped his remix of Toddla T’s Take it Back, to the swarms of Mad Decent youths who lapped it up like a cats to milk. So hot right now.

This weekend is poppin’ off with some killer parties and TDMReport is your conduit to explore what kind of music and dancing there is to be had out there. Go forth Buffalo.

This years Electronic music feature night will be a little different from last year I am expecting. Thats because they have added some live Electronica acts along with quality DJs. Last year, SOMA decorated the place with neon string, black-lit. Perfect for setting the Psy-Trance mood. This year SHAPES OF STATES will be performing late-night, and DJ MEDISON gets the primed midnight slot with which we’ll get a heavy dose Moombahton tings he’s been dabbling in. But you never know what you’ll get with his versatility, you just know that it will be absolutely full of life. Enjoy this blend of local talents Infringing everyday.

TOATS ORIG. is about to throw down Buffalo’s version of a hot happening Summer Block party. Complete and utter swag will abound as the boys from SPOOKY BUSINESS, MARIO BEE and DJ BONES will beat the block with heavy sounds. T.O. puts it best in their party description, “just get saucy with cool people in the city you love.” Something super awesome to hit up after you loyally attend the buffaBLOG Rooftop party at the Broadway Market.
