The Pacific North West continues it's indie rock assault on the Western New York area as Portland's experimental Americana folk group Blitzen Trapper are set to play at Mohawk Place on Saturday, October 29th at 8:00pm. Forming in 2000, the band released their debut album Wild Mountain Nation in 2007. Their styles very from album to album, song to song even as Neil Young and Gram Parsons era Byrds influences blend with prog and space rock jams. The band is set to release their 4th studio release, American Goldwing, on September 13th, so expect some new cuts from the band. Tickets are currently on sale for $15. Female English blues folk duo Smoke Fairies are set to open.
