Brooklyn art rock quartet The Drums provided one of our favorite sets at this years Bonnaroo. Between the crowd pleasing whistling of "Let's Go Surfing" & the depressing but super dancey "Best Friend", the group managed to sneak a couple new songs into their set, one of them titled "Money". Although the song was unfamiliar to 95% of the audience, it still manged to steal the show with it's hyper speed guitar work and finger snapping drum beat. Well, since that hot summer night, the band has announced their sophomore LP Portamento which will be released in September, and surprise surprise, the first single off the album is the previously mentioned "Money". The video for "Money" portrays some of our favorite summer activities, including picking flowers, stealing books, and wearing jean shorts. Take a look.
