Call it what you will. Indie, melodic punk, hardcore. One thing is for sure: Pentimento is making a splash. With positive reviews coming from all directions (punknews.org, absolutepunk.net and Amp magazine all rave about these guys) the band is slowly building a reputation for their memorable songs, and exciting live shows. They recently released an EP (Wrecked)and are now signed to Panic Records, which gives the indication that these guys are taking this thing very seriously. Tonight, the band will be performing at the Mohawk Place, with a host of other locals, including Young Youth, Heartsounds, Holy City Zoo, Anytime Anywhere and Caleb Spaulding. This is an early show so be there at 5pm to catch all the action.
