Tonight: O'Neill's Stadium Stock

Today marks the first-ever O'Neill's "Stadium Stock" outdoor music festival, named for the Orchard Park bar's location right next to Ralph Wilson Stadium. Headlining is Maryland-based Pasadena, whose brand of Sublime-style party reggae has gotten crowds dancing nationwide. Because of an Orchard Park connection, they've made O'Neill's a frequent tour stop, and they have a growing presence in Western New York. Look for them to move on to Nietzsche's or The Mohawk Place soon after this. My band, AUTOPUNCH, will be playing directly before them; all five of us grew up in Orchard Park, so this show was a no-brainer for us. Also on the bill are local bands and spelling rebels Sidetrakd and Turbulenc. And there will be DJs and fire-dancers and magicians to boot. Gates open at noon, and the show will go until 11 p.m. Tickets are $10 advance and $15 at the gate.
