No time to screw around as we are getting right into the Labor Day weekend hard. Summer is over. What? I said it. So what. Fall is pretty swaggy too. Gotta go shop for them earth tones, with accents. Tonight kicks off this long-weekend that was designed by the Man, for us little guys, to celebrate the fruits of our labors! Labor Day. Work too hard, so buy yourself style for walking a mile. Hours of the day you spend doing nonsense worth somebody’s while. Go out and Jam! Even as one get older and is no longer in school, it is common to still have that preparatory notion of going to bed earlier and mentally preparing oneself for days of hard work ahead. Does that ever go away? When you work year-round it means nothing. What is it about September that brings one to focus? Let’s have one more hurrah. Tony Cook also known as COOKIE MONSTA is one of the grimiest big-room dubstep producers there is. He’ll be appearing on the Town Ballroom stage tonight along with Buffalo’s STUNTMAN, AREHOUSE, and BIG BASHA. The stage is set for another night of drop-dead dubstep inside the cyclorama room of the main stage. It’s seeming that the Ballroom has become a niche venue for the occasional more widely-known dubstep acts. I’m ok with that. It still is one of my favorite venues to see a live band, but their lighting grid has some new fixtures that create a pretty cool dance atmosphere on the floor level. If you enjoyed the Excision show, or the Borgore show, then you have no-excuse because this was meant for you. Rage on with no remorse.

It’s CAPSIZED. The end of the Summer version. How you should spend every Labor Day weekend. On a boat. Listening to awesome dance music. Cruising through Buffalo Harbor. They’re calling for rain but that will never deter the tradition of the MNM Capsized parties. This floating bonanza will feature CARLO LIO out of Toronto.
