The Drum Machine Report

Let’s get it in Buffalo.
Talk is never cheap when We’re Talkin’ Proud. Real talk Buffalonians proud of their humble roots across the world, always here in spirit. We got the spirit yeah! We’re on the move now. The nobles of this realm will look for our strength and familial relationships during future hardships. Winter is coming. But first, we have an wonderful Autumnal season of shows and parties for your celebrating pleasures.
Last Saturday was a pretty memorable day. Though I had my issues with Music Is Art 2011, it was a fun time. Of course it was for me, because with the overflow of Buffalo DJs I got to see many of my friends and favorites absolutely kill it in front of a very mixed crowd. Afterwards, at DBGB’s on Allen got even more wild as Medison tagged into Brother Bears’ set and the two of them went b2b high on their performances from earlier that day at the festival. Twist then followed up with a sexy house set that was completely in character putting a cap on what was a rowdy day.
Here’s where TDMReport suggests that you get down and dirty dance. Remember it’s just a suggestion.

PAPER DIAMOND

9p-1a
$15/All Ages
TOWN BALLROOM
681 main st. Buffalo, NY
Alex B is currently focusing on his new music as Paper Diamond. Which I find to be absolutely brilliant. He’s playing sets of his original songs along with select remixes of popular favorites. The sound really has a gritty urban feel; mixing dubstep, hip-hop, and house the music is really fresh and for a city conscious audience. I’ve been looking forward to this since I saw him earlier at the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco, CA. He dazzled a good-sized crowd with energy and West-Coast flare. If you can’t go to the show, I highly recommend you check out his most recent EP released on Pretty Lights Music: LEVITATE. Also on the bill will be Michael Menert and Sorry for Partying. Sounds like a great way to start of your Saturday night!
