Raccoon Fighter, appropriately dubbed a “pleasantly seductive, slinky style of raw rock” by Deli Magazine, is one of Brooklyn’s emerging indie rock exports.  This trio, consisting of high school friends Sean Gavigan, Zac Ciancaglini, and Gabe Wilhelm has been playing together for over five years.  Their raw garage sound (think White Stripes meets the Hives) has captivated audiences from DIY basement shows in NYC to big time festivals in Mexico.  Gavigan’s gritty-top-of-his-lungs belting vocals makes this band stand out amongst a sea of other indie rock bands.  Raccoon Fighter will be playing this Friday 10/14 @ Buffalo State College’s Assembly Hall.  Doors are at 9pm and tickets are $5.  Check out their track “The Upbeat”
