Great artists are sometimes not appreciated until long after their time. I think we're going to find this is the case with Adrian Belew. Belew joined King Crimson in the eighties after a difficult period for the band. They were struggling to find their sound again and had rotated musicians off and on for the past decade. None of their work during that time could match their early '70's classics In the Court of the Crimson King and In the Wake of Poseidon. Belew breathed fresh life into the band and helped revitalize a career that was desperately needed. He has played off and on with Crimson ever since. Tonight, Belews "Power Trio" act will be hitting the Tralf, playing many King Crimson classics as well as solo material. The Stickmen are set to open the show; another great band of virtuoso players, so get their early. Tickets are $32.50 which is pricy but well worth it if you like your rock on the more progressive end. Shows at 8.
