Bees/// are an experimental act from Binghamton, NY with a sound that is somehow ambient and chaotic at the same time. It's got energy in droves, but at the same time they hit you with long droning sounds and repetition that can only be described as "Drool-Inducing". If I had to compare them to another band I would probably go with Fuck Buttons, though it should be said that these guys have a lot more of a "analog" sound to them. The real highlight on their 5 song EP is a song called "MONSTERFLOWERCAT" which features a catchy lead guitar line and an interesting melody (complete with inaudible vocals!). It's really a show that would only work at Soundlab here in the Queen City, so it's a good thing that's exactly where they're playing. Showtime is set for 8PM.
