Tonight: Chris Trapper

Singer-songwriter Chris Trapper makes his way to Buffalo tonight for a show at Babeville’s Ninth Ward. Trapper, though best-known as frontman for the 90s band The Push Stars, has built up an impressive solo repertoire starting with his debut album, Songs From the Drive-In in 2002. Most recently, Trapper has been winning fans through song placements in popular TV shows and movies. His tunes have been featured in FX’s Rescue Me, ABC’s All My Children, and the CW’s Privileged, as well as in movies like The Devil Wears Prada and August Rush.

Trapper’s work as a songwriter has also won him plenty of praise. He’s penned 7 songs for Canadian band Great Big Sea, and other artists have performed versions of Trapper’s tunes.

Chris Trapper takes the stage at 8pm, with fellow Boston singer-songwriter Kristin Cifelli opening the show.
