Nerdcore Hip Hop, have you heard of it? It's a subgenre of hip-hop characterized by a lot of suburban kids that started writing rap songs about video games and Star Wars.  mc chris has gone on record that he doesn't like to be labeled as such, but at the same time the guy is sampling NES Zelda games. Personally, the thing I best know mc chris for is his work with Kevin Smith. He's written a song for Zach & Miri Make a Porno and at least 4 different shows on the Smodcast Network. A distinctive voice in hip hop, most of his fans are rabid followers of everything he does.

Tonight's show is at Mohawk Place, supporting acts are MC Lars, Mega Ran, and Adam Warrock. Doors open at 8PM and tickets are $15.  And I'm sure costumes are encouraged!
