If you’re just ticking away the moments that make up a dull day, cheer up! The Dark Side of Allen is happening tonight at Nietzsche’s! For less than the price of a dime bag, you can chill out while some great Buffalo bands perform their favorite Pink Floyd tracks. Relics, Vegetable Man, Anal Pudding, Funktional Flow, and Slip Madigan are among those scheduled to perform. The annual celebration of Roger Waters & crew also features some seriously trippy projections from local video artist superstar Jeff Garbaz. I interviewed Garbaz back in 2008 for a little show called Buffalo Avenues that aired on WBFO, and he’s got quite an impressive resume. His visuals have played behind Lou Reed, the Flaming Lips, and Al Green, among others. The show is $7 and starts at 10pm. Or you know, like whenever you’re done with that doobie.
