Though the autumn heat has lingered fearsomely this year, you know that bitter Buffalo cold is about to sink in. What better way to warm up than to hit Elmwood Lounge tonight for Sugar City's Soul Night (522 Elmwood Ave, 10pm, $5). These things have been going on for a while and they totally explode; the last one I attended was 100% nuts-to-butts. But with authentic funk and soul sets by some of the city's best partymongering DJs, it's probably your best bet to don some boogie shoes and brave the crowd. Plus, proceeds benefit the Sugar City art space so you can feel good about yourself while getting super bad.
