Tonight: BioDiesel

In an over saturated market of DJ's and bands, which I am by no means saying is a bad thing, it actually is a great thing to have a wide variety to chose from, but BioDiesel closes the gap.  BioDiesel, sits right in the middle of both and can deliver exceptionally on both fronts.  Clay Parnell, bassist of Brothers Past, has emerged in the jam band scene as one of the top tier bass players and is sought after by other bands including electronic acts.  Johnny Rabb, the drummer for this powerful duo, should come as a name you may have heard before.  Rabb, is a professional live/studio drummer, inventor, author and instructor.  He [Rabb] once held the title of "WFD World's Fastest Drummer Extreme Sport Drumming" by playing 1,071 single strokes in one minute.  Put these two together and you have the powerhouse that is BioDiesel.  Loud bass, earth shaking drums, and dance erupting synth is what you should expect from these two.

Tonights gig kicks off around 9pm at DBGB's with piano virtuoso Jeff Bujak getting things started.  Tickets are $10 and will go fast!
