A few months back, one-man band Porcelain Raft came to town as support for Yuck at The Ninth Ward. He put on an excellent show, and so the Gods of Music Justice shuffled a couple moons (or whatever it is they do) and made it so he'd return as a headliner. In other words, The Ninth Ward has recently announced that they would be hosting Porcelain Raft again on June 10^th.

If you missed them last time around, the “group” consists of Mauro Remiddi – an Italian-born film composer who recently turned to indie-songwriting. The music is sparse, spacey, sometimes glitch-laden, and intentional incomplete – in all the right, lullaby-like ways. Listen to the track “Dragonfly” below, and stay tuned as the show details emerge.
