Son of a bitch.

That is what I muttered to myself as I listened through The Mordaunt Sisters' three songs they have posted on their website earlier this week.

Son of a biiittttch... this is what Buffalo needs!  Screw that, this is what I need.

Things I like: minimalist soundscapes, female vocals, layers of sound effects
(i.e. - the pick scrapes in "Hirschfield"), and female vocals.  I also enjoy music with female vocals.

Lucky for me, The Mordaunt Sisters have all these things in spades.

Lucky for me, you, and everyone else in Buffalo, The Mordaunt Sisters are playing at DBGB's tonight at 10pm.

Do yourself a favor and come to the show tonight, you'll be rewarded with a set that is sure to be unfeigned and original.  Plus, you'll have a chance to see what a glockenspiel looks like!

The Record Theatre staff will be spinning choice cuts throughout the evening as well, so you are guaranteed to hear some killer tunes tonight.
