Buffalo Place has begun to unveil their summer lineup for their Rock the Harbor shows. The first two weekend shows were just announced this morning, both featuring Buffalo favorites. On Friday, June 29th, Canadian power poppers Sam Roberts Band will be joined by retro rockers Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. Both acts played the area last year as Sam Roberts played Artpark in late summer and Grace Potter graced the TATS stage. The following night, Saturday June 30th, will be local favs moe. w/electronic act Conspirator. Again, both acts should be no stranger to Buffaloians as they frequent the Queen City on a seemingly yearly basis. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday at 10:00am and can be purchased for $10 in advance at buffaloplace.com, $20 day of. Despite the miserable weather the last couple days, summer, actually, is coming.

I am a huge Grace Potter fan and would never say no to seeing her again but there are SOOOO MANY good bands that could play that stage!

Totally, same bands every year. It's lame. Get some new relevant talent. I could predict that Moe was going to be playing, probably Jamie Moses w/ Kaitlin Koche and Umphrey's McGee too.
ahhh, It doesn't feel like Spring until I get to complain about cheap Summer shows.
