Kweli will be coming to the Town Ballroom Thursday, May 31st with a full live
band and special guest J. Pinder. Coming off his latest release Gutter
Rainbows, Talib has stated that he’s switching things up with a new self
produced style. Probably most know for his work with Mos Def in Black Star,
Talib has always been at the forefront of socially conscious hip-hop; his work
of late capturing the trials and tribulations of his ghetto childhood. This
tour should be a strong showing for the veteran MC, especially with the backing
of fellow neo-soul musicians. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 13th
($24.00 advance/$27.00 day of) and is open to all ages.
