Tonight: The Andrew J. Reimers CPX Album Release Show

Alt country rockers the Andrew J. Reimers Country-Punk Extravaganza, or CPX to relieved carpal tunnel fans, have been making a name for themselves over the last year and change for their rather energetic and rambunctious performances.  Carrying the torch of the modern alt country bands like Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, Whiskeytown, and even early Wilco, the band exhibits both the roots and snarl of the country and punk genres respectively, thus the name.  That trend should continue tonight at DBGB's as the five piece band will be celebrating the release of their very good debut LP Wide Right Blues.  Support will come from local three piece folk group I'm Happiest When and more.  Cover for tonight is only $5, and while you are there, pick up a copy of the album, as all proceeds from first day album sales proceeds will go towards Wings Flights of Hope.  Music begins at 8:30pm.
