Rock the Mondays away tonight with The Sidekicks. Tonight's show at Mohawk Place is the latest stop on the bands' first large-scale tour in support of their latest release Awkward Breeds.
The Sidekicks' last full-length album, Weight of Air was named album of the year by Punknews.org in 2009 and, from all accounts I have read, Awkward Breeds not only continues the energy of Weight of Air but expands upon it with a more polished sound.
Their tour is making many stops in varied locales this side of the Rocky Mountains before it ends in November in their home state of Ohio.
Playing in support tonight are a bevy of like-minded rockers in Unwelcome Guests, Mapmaker, and Geronimo!
