Tonight: Thanksgiving (Adrian Orange) with The Pajama Party, MJB Party, Brimstone Blondes, and Cannon Squad

Sugar City, the gallery/show space turned collective of wandering art providers, is putting on a great early show tonight, starting what is sure to be a very full evening of quality music.

K Records artist, Adrian Orange, will be bringing his latest project, Thanksgiving, to Mohawk Place. Fans of Smog and Phil Eleverum will enjoy Thanksgiving's low-fi earnest folk, which is delivered in a tone that mixes the plaintive with the hopeful.

Opening for Orange will be another Pacific Northwest act, The Pajama Party. The Pajama Party is the home recording project of Miles Rozatti, who creates emotionally fraught songs that are simultaneously catchy and abrasive.

Local openers, Cannon Squad and Brimstone Blondes will begin the show with clever rock and roll songs, while MJB Corporation will spin "outside the square" music between  acts.

The show is at Mohawk Place and the first band goes on at 8:00pm sharp! So you will still have enough time to catch Frankie Rose if you are feeling ambitious.
