In the midst of one of the busier three day stretches of live music Buffalo has seen in some time, sometimes you just need a laid back evening of music to keep your sanity. That's where Portland's Horse Feathers come in. The Pacific Northwest based folk group returns to Babeville's intimate Ninth Ward this evening for a night of beautiful instrumentation and some of the best vocals around in frontman Justin Ringle. Touring in support of 2012's Cynics's New Year, their forth LP and third released on the Kill Rock Stars label, the band continues, at least in my opinion, to be the best modern folk group around, so don't miss this opportunity in what could not be a better match of band and venue. Tickets for this evening's show are $12 and you can get in the door starting at 7pm.
