Super prolific Detroit producer Matthew Dear will be playing Soundlab tonight with his full live band. The co-founder of Ghostly International, the home to such notable acts as Tycho, Shigeto and Com Truise (all who've made stops in Buffalo), Dear is a producer of many faces. Whether it be pumping Detroit House, electronic Avant-Pop (thank you Wikipedia, that's a new one) or one of his countless remixes for Hot Chip, Postal Service, The XX, or The Chemical Brothers, Dear is a busy man. Help him fight the good fight tonight by going to his show. Doors are at 9pm with mult-instrumentalist duo Light Asylum opening.
