Festival mainstays Jimkata are bringing their electro-rock hybrid sound to Duke's tonight. Supporting their fan funded album Die Digital, the four piece have been consistently gaining steam over the past few years with high profile sets at festivals such as Camp Bisco, Mountain Jam and Summer Camp. For my money though, music like this is always best enjoyed in a packed club. Duke's has been doing a remarkable job filling the live music hole that Mohawk Place left behind, expanding on their DJ night mainstays with an eclectic schedule of live bands across all genres. Electronic jam four piece Space Junk open the show, who I'm told were the highlight of their show at Duke's earlier this month, making the $7 cover a steal. Doors are at 9pm.
