Just Announced: Purity Ring

2013 in Buffalo seems have gotten off to a bit of a slow start in terms of concert announcements.  Just today though, Town Ballroom released a handful of new dates, with the most notable being a spring stop for Purity Ring.  The French Canadian electronic duo played a set at Mohawk Place a couple falls ago, but since the release of their debut full length, Shrines, this past summer, the twosome has been on the festival circuit and graduating to bigger clubs.  Tickets for the April 3rd show are $15 and will go on sale this Friday.

  1. another 40 minute show at the Ballroom...

  2. This band will be worth every second. I have a few friends who saw them in Boston who said that their faces were absolutely melted by the performance. Besides, got to establish that hipster street-cred early by jumping in on these great early-year shows.

  3. this is hipster fly by night junk. in the next 6 months they won't matter and stereogum will have all the sheep liking another pile of mac book generated audio garbage

  4. cool, maybe next we'll get a band that isn't terrible.

  5. ALL YA"LL HATERS.

  6. I just hate them for ruining the new Born Gold album more than anything else.
