2012 set a pretty high standard for live music in Buffalo, most notably represented by the hot streak of touring bands stopping through the Town Ballroom. The Ballroom looks to continue that streak in 2013 with tonight's Young Empires show. Formed in Toronto in 2009, the indie dance group's most recent stop in Buffalo was at Babeville's intimate Ninth Ward venue with Love Scenes back in April of 2011. Since then, the band has released the Wake All My Youth EP, co-produced by AL-P of MSTRKRFT, and signed with Pirates Blend Records. Tickets are still available for tonight's show for $14 at the door, which is a steal for a Ballroom show. Doors are at 7, with an opening set from Royal Teeth (check out our write up of them here).
