The Man in Black is a beloved figure in most music circles. Johnny Cash was hardcore before there was hardcore, walking the walk, and keeping things honest, and his birthday is rightly celebrated by fans all over the world. In Buffalo, the Good Neighborhood is taking it further by presenting the 2nd Annual Johnny Cash Birthday Bash tonight at Nietzsche's, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper. For $5, you get the Steam Donkeys, Million Dollar Trio, Shaky Stage, Ten Cent Howl, Andrew J Reimers' Country-Punk Extravaganza, and best of all it's for an exceptional cause... because the Riverkeepers are on the job for us, not the swine always out to take our fresh water. Put on your best black shirt and be at Nietzsche's to honor the man himself. Show starts at 10 PM.
