Your friendly neighborhood buffaBLOGGERS (hoping this nickname will stick) will be venturing up north today to see Ducktails. Touring in support of one of 2013's early highlights, The Flower Lane, Matt Mondanile's group will be performing at Toronto's The Garrison.

Also known as a member of Real Estate, Mondanile has been quietly releasing a string of great records as Ducktails. The latest record, The Flower Lane, sees Mondanile more willing to experiment with styles and bring in more collaborators, resulting in an excellent collection of breezy pop.

Opening for Ducktails is the experimental pop/electronic project, Monopoly Child Star Searchers.
