This May, Deerhunter will drop Monomania, the follow up to 2011's incredible Halcyon Digest. The forthcoming LP's title track is a harsh, lo-fi punk tune full of heavy distortion that suggests maybe Deerhunter front man Bradford Cox has been listening to a little White Light/White Heat these days. The exhilarating rush of "Monomania" is a big departure from Halcyon's lush "Helicopter" and "He Would Have Laughed." Monomania will be released on May 7th.
