New York's Joey Bada$$ is one of the brightest young talent's to emerge in Hip Hop in recent memory. The 18-year-old MC's latest track, "A Day In The Life," is the opening cut on Peter Rosenberg's The New York Renaissance mixtape featuring Action Bronson, A$AP Rocky, Flatbush Zombies, and members of Pro Era. Produced by fellow New Yorker Harry Fraud, the cinematic instrumental features horn and piano samples that give the track a nocturnal feel, offset by the rapper's rhythmic flow and favored boom bap drum production, the result of which is a track that has all the makings of a Hip Hop classic.
