If you are in the mood for a night of rollicking, roots rock (alliteration galore!), then down to the gem of Amherst Street, the Sportsmen's Tavern, this evening. Blog favorites and Buffalo's alt country torchbearers, Andrew J Remiers CPX, will share the stage with Americana rocker Tommy Brunett as part of the final addition of the Good Neighborhood's Honor Thy Country Series. Reimers and crew will be having their performance filmed for a live DVD so get a good spot and you may make the final cut on the film. Music kicks off at 9:30pm. $5 will not only get you into the bar tonight, but also access to some cheap drinks as the Genny will be a flowin all night for $2 a pint.
