Listener's Digest: Winter Bear - "Jump in the Fire"

Lo-fi seems to be all the rage nowadays, but Winter Bear’s “Jump In The Fire” stands out from the pack a bit thanks to its rollicking garage pop feel and “ba ba ba” earworms that soon get lodged in your subconscious.  Also, Dorby Dorbin’s lead vocal harkens back to The Shangri-La’s or any classic girl group.  One question though: where’s the bass? “Jump In The Fire” is the A-side to their upcoming single, which will be out in late June. Since the track is not yet public, at least to us, you can listen to the song here.

  1. I had a few bands without a bass player so I got used to writing songs without them. Ha. Live, it has a bass now :]. Thanks for the write up!
