black dots,
grand opening,
Nick,
today,
tonight
—
Today is a good day. Buffalo is getting a new record store called Black Dots, specializing in new and used punk, hardcore, metal, and indie music, operated by Massachusetts transplant Josh Smith, who previously owned a punk oriented shop back home. Today is their first official day of business, and, in addition to a massive selection of vinyls (see here), they are offering beer, snacks, and some friendly smiles. What more do you need?
Go check them out in the basement of 223 Lafayette Avenue (across from Sweetness 7). They're open every day from 12-8, but let's help to make their opening day special. In the meantime, you can follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (@blackdotsbuffalo).

Small correction: I was just "vacationing" in Mass. I'm actually a Syracuse native and very proud Upstate (everything north of NYChitty) NYer. Thanks for the coverage, Buffablog!
